Training – Delivering Effective SRE to LGBTQ Young People

Research shows that people are happier and more productive in an environment in which they feel they can be themselves without fear of harassment or abuse.  Although society as a whole is becoming more tolerant of the diversity of sexual orientations, homophobia is still ingrained in many institutions and communities. This continues to have an extremely negative effect on the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender people.

This course is designed for those who are involved with or planning to develop their sex and relationships with groups of young people or individually.

The course aims to develop participant’s awareness of and confidence in working and supporting LGBT young people around their sex and relationships needs.
